Pollution - a health hazard

Pollution is the process of making air, water, soil etc dirty. It is a global problem. It poses a serious threat to the environment. Everywhere people seem to be suffering from lung diseases and skin allergies. Pollution in vehicles has become a matter of great concern to all of us. The smoke they send out makes people sick. This is one facet of pollution. There are other too like water pollution, sound pollution etc. The government and individuals should take steps to bring down pollution levels, lest all cities should soon become gas chambers. In order to check this, pollution control devices have to be employed. It is our duty to see it that the purity and sanctity of our surroundings are intact. A pollution free world should become our motto.

Tears flow out of your eyes automatically and you will feel bit uncomfortable when the the person you love is in trouble and just praying for them whenever you pray .Never want to miss them and always want to be with them.Being loyal even though they are not with you and just having a thought about tham atleast once in an hour.

The current consensus view of the scientific and medical communities is that health effects are very unlikely to be caused by cellular phones or their base stations.
Cellular phones became widely available only relatively recently, while tumors can take decades to develop. For this reason, some health authorities have urged that the precautionary principle be observed, recommending that use and proximity to the head be minimized, especially by children.

Every invention take birth to produce some ill as well as some good impacts. With cellphone same things come.

They are good as to provide fast communication through out the world, whatever place we are. and what ever is the time. which certainly develop the medical, education, military, transporting, customer services and various other field.

But at the same time they have health hazards. the research has shown that max use of them reduce the mental ability, as the radiation come out of it, which can also cause disease like cancer. And several other likely to come. the mobile towers through out the cities decrease the flying birds all around. Also terrorist is misusing it.
people spend less time with family than using mobile. even there is no resriction over it, when you are on dining table or you are in temple. it has in certain extent also effect the family relationship negatively.

Invention occur when the need occur.

Mobile or cellphone are perhaps the most rapidlly covering the market because of its tremendous use.

Because of it we do not have any problem in contacting people while doing any type of work which may range from travelling to relaxing in our spa.

Mobile have covered those areas also where installation of telephone poles was not possible.

Now a days it is so easily available that no one bother about using a land line phone.

Global mobile connection has an acade advantage of it for the international travellers.

But researcher have showed that electromagnetic waves from it can harm brain cell badly and can even lead to mental retardation also.

It is also very harmful and can hamper the functioning of pacemakers.

The changing face of youth in India

As the generation changes..everything changes...lifestyle, talking style, requirements, thinking style, views...everything...

In the same way youth of India is much more sensitive in any case...the young guns knows their life goal n the can do anything to achieve it more commonly...the face of India is changing because of the young power look at any field engineering, medical, defense, research...the young guys are making their own benchmark. even in politics. Rahul Gandhi has impressed whole India with his unique and creative ideas and thinking.
Talking about the traditions..yes these are now over ruled by this gen. but we have to accept the more effective changes at the cost of some traditional changes.

I wish the young generation did not sacrifice good manners in their efforts to change! Whatever happened to 'please' and 'thank you' ?! They often tend to be rude towards elders and I have even seen youngsters jostling older people without so much as an apology. Even our cultural traditions are being ignored to be replaced by Westernised trends. More importance is given to Valentine's day, for example, for no reason.

The most significant change in the youth of this generation is the assertiveness. They want to be their own, very individualist. They dare to look different, do different, just stand out. But at the end of the day, this leads to an unsustainable stress. Today's youth has shed the oriental mannerism up to some extent, but this is natural. Can you clear me a thing. I had many times felt like when I plan for something before, for example to do some work in the following days, it will surely end in negative. Yes you are right Shampa Ray Barman, but most of the times I myself had felt like negative thoughts occupying whole of mind than positive. For example when a good thing is to happen, my mind keep on says that it to happen in a wrong way. When riding I mostly feel that I will meet with accident that day. Yes It depends on indivisual attitute,the way he/she think about any thing reflect in his/her behaviour.At some extend each of us have tendency to think negative in different situation.

Reservation is needed or not in INDIA

Reservation is required by the politicians to get scores of votes. India needed reservation only after independence to brings all the castes in the mainstream. But a reservation for higher study was never needed. If a person from backward class can complete one's schooling without reservation and bias then why one needs to be reserved after that. There can be no school or institute in India where one is stopped entering just because of taking birth in backward classes.

Well before we slam the politicians and all let’s look in to the past and observe why was the reservations done in the first place and its present impact.

In the past(before independence) its true that the higher classes enjoyed more benefits - I mean what all the titles like Rai Bahadur, and etc were mean tot create a social unrest which was utilised to its best by the British.

It seems that to reverse things a bit and also appease the SC/ST s reservations were made. Moreover the census of 1932 too showed that the SC/ST s and OBCs were larger in numbers. So it can be said that for general appeasement of masses it was also a political step by the Country makers at that time. Moreover with the proximity to USSR at that time the word "equality" may have sounded different at that time.

Reservations were made not only in castes but also between states at lets keep J & K out of this since it had its own problems to deal with.

If we look into most of the Government PSUs made after independence we would observe that they intentionally kept Maharashtra and West Bengal out of it purview since they were the most developed states during in and around independence. Former being the seat of the commercial capital and the later being the seat of the country's capital in the past. Rather New Delhi being the capital of India only for 96 years whereas Calcutta was the capital from 1772 to 1911 - 139 years.

Now initially there was a time frame for implementing the "social upliftment" - the term coined by all those pro-reservation politicians (may be that includes everyone except Sidhu pajji) now. After that time frame got over it was found that they still lag behind so it was increased and more time was given but it reached its peak with the "Mandal commission".

Now after 60 years of independence if "social upliftment" has not been achieved then it clearly indicates the process thus chosen was wrong. Reservation always meant to deny the deserving from the pie and give it to some who doesn't deserve it. Frankly this whole drama is appeasing the masses but there is a flip side of it. It's this that General Category class is still ahead. It meant that due to competitions for fewer seats the generals are getting better day by day. And they are still ahead despite of all the reservations against merit.

Who is actually benefiting, are the labour class of SC/ST s benefiting? NO!!! The service class is biggest and perhaps the only benefactor. The people whom we meet everybody in our offices, schools, parks, restaurants belonging to this class are "THE" biggest benefactor.

Reservation in my opinion should be made for every one who heralds from a lower economic status for one-time for either govt. jobs or govt. educational institution. Once availed it cannot be used for the next 3 generations and that too after calculating the economic status. This would ensure that it comes to an end one day.

There is another point I would like to make is why did politicians suddenly warmed up for reservations in premier institutions and private firms. Well, during Mandal commission, our present PM Dr. Manmohan Singh did introduce something called "Liberalisation". Credit to him for having such a long-sighted concept, slowly it became apparent in the late nineties early millennium that there aren't sufficient jobs in the government sector and most of them were going after private firms - that meant that reservation in government sector is not that valuable any more. So this is the only way out. But kudos to Private firms and IIMs, IITs and not forget the medical fraternity who has the biggest influence in the social setup who stood up against this "social menace". But above all the Supreme Court who proved time and again that it would not be the part of cheap politics.

It is not needed in the present form. Constitution makers provided reservations for 25 years. Now this has become an unending process due to vote bank politics. In the meantime those who got jobs from the reserved category in the 50s and 60s have their wards well settled and relocated to USA etc. Reservations to the next generation cannot be justified. But there are prominent politicos who want reservations for the next 2000 years - their logic - for the last 2000 years a section of society has been backward. this is staple diet for China to do well. there are thick headed - and no headed persons in society who cant see beyond winning the next election.
50 years is not enough for a social or a academically not exposed backward communities in India to come up and to compete with the thousands of years academically sound communitie(s) which denied the education and kept the education only to them.So why still many most backward classes in India has only the First generation learners compared to the forward community's ratio.It is not the question of vote bank for politicians and they are really in very Right Track in this issue of reservation.

I agree with Sachin and Shampa that this is a mere political proposition and a politician's bread and butter as he can not exist without it - If it is Congress and so called Secular Parties who believe their existence in 'For Quota' stance, its BJP and so called Communal parties who believe their existence in 'Against Quota' stance. But it is just that; I mean non of them do not actually want this Quota System to go. It is a all weather political product that benefits both hues of Indian Politics.

If it is Caste System which is still in existence, hats off to bastard politicians. There is no need to give job on the basis of caste. Let the Government come out with a Quota system purely based of economic condition of person. As Sachin rightly said - Today a wall has emerged among the ST/SC population - Service Class and Labour Class; The former is continuously benefiting, rather unnecessarily and labour class remains where it was 50 years back. So there should be a countrywide stir to force these politicians to rectify their mistake which breeds so many hatre among sections.

I don't think so, because Pakistan isn't the one who attacked us. Attacking Pakistan will lead to a war, and war is not the solution to all this.

Yes, an eye for an eye will get us nowhere. It will only create more bloodshed. Peace and harmony are more important than war, no matter that terrorist outfits in Pakistan are involved in attacks on India. Eventually, it is the innocent citizens who will suffer.

I also do not support attack on Pakistan but I am in support of strengthen our defence system.
Varun, think about the after effects of the Afganistan attack by America, there were pictures of toddlers who lost their limbs,lost an eye, became deformed etc, crying helplessly. It was horryfying to see those sights.Maybe from a different nation but they are also innocent kids.
My point is how can we, sensible people, commit the same crime by killing innocent people of Pakistan as done by the terrorists. That does not mean I want more terror attacks, but things to be solved diplomatically, creating political pressures, like boycotting Pakistan, treating thm as third degree citizens etc.
A n eye for an eye is no big deal for dealing with such issues. We should use our brains to handle this crisis. How can we, sensible people, become emotionless, animals like the terrorists?

So, attacking is no way a wise decision. Let us strengthen ourselves, our internal security so much that nobody can dare to attack us. On offense, there is always a risk of retaliation and the process never ends.
If we are talking about war, this will surely be a blunder on our part. Because, all the peer nations like China and others they want us to do so, so that our envious economic growth would be shattered in their advantage. Today an economically vibrant country garners more respect than a warrior country. One of my Muslim friend made a good point about this question. It is not in best interest of India to start war or attack Pakistan on Mumbai terrosit attack. This will take Pakistan forces away from Afghan border trying to fight Al Quaida and Taliban and it will give these extremist freedom to create more trouble elsewhere instead of that let them kill each other why do we want to waste Indian forces effort for the work that Islamic extremist are doing to Pakistan. We should spend our resources in strenghtening our security and defence.

Isn't that really a sudden rage or reflex. Why should we attack Pakistan? Did Pakistan really did it? Is there any way we can prove it?
Humans are gifted with different attributes to tackle down problems?

India should not attcak Pakistan after the Taj attack. What happened on 26th Nov was unfortunate, but to retaliate by attacking is not the way according to me.
But it does not mean that Pakistan should be spared for it.Some action has to be taken,but I dont know what.Its for our leaders to decided.

1. The Taliban and Pakistan will be united.
2. In war they have nothing to lost, they don't have any thing to be destroyed. They don't have any developed city, or industry. The destruction will be for India, It is true that we will won the battle. But in what price.

I start a new gd topic who is good manager, man or woman.
Before giving any conclusion, we should not forget the ability of males as a manager.
I think that manger should have mainly these three main issues:-
1.Manager should have good knowledge of this field.
2. Manager should be a good leader.
3. Last but not least Manager should have ability to initiative.
These all qualities do not depend on sex of a person. Any individual can have these qualities and can be a good manager.

Before discussing, who is a good manager? We shouldn't forget that it basically depends upon the field. There are many fields that are amicable to man and some to women. So man and women both are good manager in their respective field.
Yes, I agree that women also take care of their family but man also done that . Indoor responsibility belongs to a women whereas outdoors to a man.

I think now-a-days there is no much difference between man or woman when it comes to career point of perspective.
We cant really judge who is good manager (ie whether male or female).
Depending upon various situations the effectivity of manager comes out.
A manager is one who has capability of really handling the pressure and see that process goes in a smooth way despite of many exceptions.
?Here no matter whether the manager is man or woman, its his/her capability, ability, character, attitude which will be tested round the corner.
But i think definitely man would have slight bit of advantage here as for the role of manager respective individual has to be a bit rigourous and aggressive enough, these kind of stuff are more in man than in a woman i guess.
Finally it again depends on each and every individual.
Really tough who is good among the both.

I feel that man can play in a managerial place at some points better than women. Women too play but at sometimes they fail from their duty. They very soon become sensitive whatever higher post they are. Psychologically, they are at very minor percentage lacking, of leading such high posts. Till they are in lower levels, they can go with ease, and feel they can do much better than a man. But once they come to that level, they themselves loose temper, and become tense soon. And other than that they possess very high qualities of thinking equal to men. To talk it might be easy saying women can perform all headed levels, but when coming real, they do really lack some points which is the important factor of that post.

In opinion men can play the role better than women.

Software Vs core jobs

Now a days lots of youngsters are allured towards software because of huge packages, of 78% software companies in market only 7% are Indian origin and rest from abroad. in US man power s costly compared to machine power so they prefer mostly automated types, so they extract from Indian employee because they are cheaper and sharper!!
Due to this boom highly stuff guys of core oriented are diverted to software and thereby creating holes in core fields n r&d dep., this will affect our countries future independent stand on technology.
Moreover working in software causes many premature problems like infertility, stress, and vision dimness!!

So guys and gals is money everything? Awake soon and please suggest your views!!!

No. For the majority of times, softwares attracts people because of lucrative salary structure and relatively flexible work profile. This has been major driving force for many graduates having degrees in core engineering and medical disciplines. But core jobs are always stable but don't start with as much attracting salary as software jobs does. More over, Indian s/w companies still have to emerge as "Product-based" companies from the current scenario of "Project-based" companies. Since most of the projects come from outside, any problems in outsourcing directly affect jobs here in India. Job security is a big concern in s/w more than in core jobs.

I agree with your point. Most of the youngsters are attracted towards the softwares than core. But you have to consider one important point that Majority of the companies that hire large people in India are Software Companies. As you know that the Software companies are visiting the College Campus and hiring most of the people than the Core Companies and the students also settle in the software companies. Even though they know that the software job is not stable one they are working due to huge package offered by the company.

Well if we go by present form and few last performances, I don’t think he deserves a place in the team. Undoubtedly he has served the Indian cricket sincerely for yers and had been cynosure of Indian cricket team. But now its high time!!! Hardly he had played any innings of character after WC03...this is not the sachin who delived at time of urgency. Whenever team needs him he spends most time in pavilion. His heydays are over. That’s the rule of nature every one has ones days!!!!!!
There are guys who can perform better than him now and are doing the work of carrying bottles!! The great batsman should now make a way for someone who can serve the country now better than him. His innings don’t do anything now but add to his stats.
That’s not expected of a greaty like him!!

The palce that Sachin has made for himself in Indian Cricket, Indian Cricket fans..it is very difficult for selectors to ask Sachin to step down.. They can not touch Sachin and Sachin knows it.

It is true that the current performance of the little blaster is on low and he need to give a serious though on his future..
I think after Saurav and Kumble, its turn for Dravid... then VVS Laxman then Sachin..

In my opinion foreign investment in India is good because foreign technologies which are very helpful for working in India in every field.
Foreign investment is good for India but at a fix level not for any level. I mean to say that if there is a foreign investment at a very high level do you think Indian companies have the capability to compete against foreign companies???
If there is and investment in India from foreign side is will surely improve our infrastructure and economy as we can see now our SENSEX has reached a level of 20k but you can also see that many companies are unable to even stay in the market against these multinational companies.
In a little bit extent its good and in an another manner its will not be that good for India.

Foreign Investment is good for Companies, but for the employees it is not a good Thing. There will be less Job security in such private companies which have major proportion of shares owned by foreigners.

Let me tell an example that recently occured. In Centurion Bank of Punjab , which was a private bank which had more than 50% investment by foreigners was sold out to HDFC this year. Here everyone benefited other than the employees. Hundreds of people lost jobs in this bank during the merging of the banks. This is what happens in case of foreign investment. Employees will loose jobs and this will decrease the growth of India.

Reservation is needed or not in INDIA

Reservation is required by the politicians to get scores of votes. India needed reservation only after independence to brings all the castes in the mainstream. But a reservation for higher study was never needed. If a person from backward class can complete one's schooling without reservation and bias then why one needs to be reserved after that. There can be no school or institute in India where one is stopped entering just because of taking birth in backward classes.

Girish you wrote very well, i agree with you perfectly. For the upliftment of downtrodden, reservation can be there but no way reservation is justified in the higher education and other similar fronts in India.

Well before we slam the politicians and all let’s look in to the past and observe why was the reservations done in the first place and its present impact.

In the past(before independence) its true that the higher classes enjoyed more benefits - I mean what all the titles like Rai Bahadur, and etc were mean tot create a social unrest which was utilised to its best by the British.

It seems that to reverse things a bit and also appease the SC/ST s reservations were made. Moreover the census of 1932 too showed that the SC/ST s and OBCs were larger in numbers. So it can be said that for general appeasement of masses it was also a political step by the Country makers at that time. Moreover with the proximity to USSR at that time the word "equality" may have sounded different at that time.

Reservations were made not only in castes but also between states at lets keep J & K out of this since it had its own problems to deal with.

If we look into most of the Government PSUs made after independence we would observe that they intentionally kept Maharashtra and West Bengal out of it purview since they were the most developed states during in and around independence. Former being the seat of the commercial capital and the later being the seat of the country's capital in the past. Rather New Delhi being the capital of India only for 96 years whereas Calcutta was the capital from 1772 to 1911 - 139 years.

Now initially there was a time frame for implementing the "social upliftment" - the term coined by all those pro-reservation politicians (may be that includes everyone except Sidhu pajji) now. After that time frame got over it was found that they still lag behind so it was increased and more time was given but it reached its peak with the "Mandal commission".

Now after 60 years of independence if "social upliftment" has not been achieved then it clearly indicates the process thus chosen was wrong. Reservation always meant to deny the deserving from the pie and give it to some who doesn't deserve it. Frankly this whole drama is appeasing the masses but there is a flip side of it. It's this that General Category class is still ahead. It meant that due to competitions for fewer seats the generals are getting better day by day. And they are still ahead despite of all the reservations against merit.

Who is actually benefiting, are the labour class of SC/ST s benefiting? NO!!! The service class is biggest and perhaps the only benefactor. The people whom we meet everybody in our offices, schools, parks, restaurants belonging to this class are "THE" biggest benefactor.

Reservation in my opinion should be made for every one who heralds from a lower economic status for one-time for either govt. jobs or govt. educational institution. Once availed it cannot be used for the next 3 generations and that too after calculating the economic status. This would ensure that it comes to an end one day.

There is another point I would like to make is why did politicians suddenly warmed up for reservations in premier institutions and private firms. Well, during Mandal commission, our present PM Dr. Manmohan Singh did introduce something called "Liberalisation". Credit to him for having such a long-sighted concept, slowly it became apparent in the late nineties early millennium that there aren't sufficient jobs in the government sector and most of them were going after private firms - that meant that reservation in government sector is not that valuable any more. So this is the only way out. But kudos to Private firms and IIMs, IITs and not forget the medical fraternity who has the biggest influence in the social setup who stood up against this "social menace". But above all the Supreme Court who proved time and again that it would not be the part of cheap politics.

It is not needed in the present form. Constitution makers provided reservations for 25 years. Now this has become an unending process due to vote bank politics. In the meantime those who got jobs from the reserved category in the 50s and 60s have their wards well settled and relocated to USA etc. Reservations to the next generation cannot be justified. But there are prominent politicos who want reservations for the next 2000 years - their logic - for the last 2000 years a section of society has been backward. this is staple diet for China to do well. there are thick headed - and no headed persons in society who cant see beyond winning the next election.
50 years is not enough for a social or a academically not exposed backward communities in India to come up and to compete with the thousands of years academically sound communitie(s) which denied the education and kept the education only to them.So why still many most backward classes in India has only the First generation learners compared to the forward community's ratio.It is not the question of vote bank for politicians and they are really in very Right Track in this issue of reservation

I agree with Sachin and Shampa that this is a mere political proposition and a politician's bread and butter as he can not exist without it - If it is Congress and so called Secular Parties who believe their existence in 'For Quota' stance, its BJP and so called Communal parties who believe their existence in 'Against Quota' stance. But it is just that; I mean non of them do not actually want this Quota System to go. It is a all weather political product that benefits both hues of Indian Politics.

If it is Caste System which is still in existence, hats off to bastard politicians. There is no need to give job on the basis of caste. Let the Government come out with a Quota system purely based of economic condition of person. As Sachin rightly said - Today a wall has emerged among the ST/SC population - Service Class and Labour Class; The former is continuously benefiting, rather unnecessarily and labour class remains where it was 50 years back. So there should be a countrywide stir to force these politicians to rectify their mistake which breeds so many hatre among sections.

In this Globalization, why we should think about any particular culture. I accept that Indian Culture is the best, but we should welcome western culture as well. Not being rigid, but should protect and balance between two difference and should choose the best.

"A man is made up of what he thinks". No scientific evidence are laid to state that a particular culture is appropriate for humans to follow.

The culture of west must be working well in WEST and not EAST. Everything has to fit in exactly to work well. The culture in West is of their fore-fathers and they are following in rapport and none of them has made it. It is 'as it is'. They face with complete different kind of problems unlike ours.

But we should not totally disregard their culture just because it is in WEST. We have to choose the best for ourselves and see that our life improves. There is nothing wrong If something can help you out.
Parties as WEST insist that its for fun and rest. Yes it is. But our parents in India still don't like their daughter or son to walk home late in the night, some parents allow their children so that they experience it and knows to bind within the limits.

Lets see Democracy. India is the best democratic country and yet it had not propounded the Democracy. That's it. The political thoughts of western culture is good and ours best. We are sharing the same system but at the same time maintaining our INDIVIDUAL IDENTITY too.

Central and Eastern European cultural influences concerning artistic, musical, folkloric, ethic and oral traditions. These themes are also intensified by Indian cultures too and did we copy it? No, we did ourselves. That was music.

Globalization and human migration often effects cultures of some country and that is the best part of it as we learn new Ideologies and develop global outlook.

We should foster good attitude to excel as human. 'Breaking the wall' is the generations concept, so that we become better humans.

Hello Girish.
Hmm. I personally prefer going on a trip with my monkeys for a week or so. Then I love to come back home and have home made food which I really miss when m back in college.

And yea of course internet. I love surfing around heavily during my holidays and try to help others and try to get help from others. Beside that I love doing designing and holidays are the best time for me to do that. Please have a look at the header file @ i333.blogspot.com

I made that in Photoshop. And the most enjoyable part of my holidays is being in my bed for hours. I am a real zombie when I get back home. lol

well , I personally feel that we all should be a little more vigil about the activities going around us. If something smells like a conspiracy. One can contact police !!
moreover, we should show active participation in spread in communal harmony and brotherhood. It may only begin with helping people in minor issues, without any care for there community!!
Also, like police and army personnel we should be more alert and make our reflexes strong as any eventful day approaches, any suspicious person or thing anywhere (buses, platforms, your guests room) should be brought in notice.
But, if some incident happens we should try to minimize effects by offering help and maintaining peace.

Orkut is like a tool given in our hands.We can either use it smartly and take positives out of it or we can end up using a lot of our time in doing things which will actually fetch nothing to us.

Who says you can't be intelligent without money? Intelligence is a mental aspect and has nothing to do with money; agreed, money can get you a better education, but that does not equate with intelligence at all. Even if you have a basic education of the ability to read, you can become intelligent by merely reading a lot and gathering knowledge. The books require money, but these can be borrowed from places like free libraries or mobile libraries. I have known people with very high educational qualifications but when it comes to making an intelligent decision at the workplace, they are not up to the mark.

Look at the not highly educated Mumbai police constables who risked their lives - one at CST station grabbed his colleague's rifle and started shooting at the terrorist; another was the major factor in the police being able to capture a terrorist alive when he held on to the terrorist's gun and did not let go even when shot - THAT is bravery based on quick-thinking intelligence.

If you are intelligent you can make money with that. But money is not needed to be intelligent. Even uneducated are intelligent in many ways. Very few percentage of people are born intellegent, there are many factors who contribute towards the intelligency of an indvidual. Abilty to think intelligent or to have intelligent mind depends mostly on our sorrounding atmospehere. But If a person want to have a intelligent mind he/she can always have it through education, hardwork, learning and constructive will power, so basically intelligency depends upon an individual efforts.
Intellegent mind, Quick thinking, instant decision making power, spontaneous reactions etc. all these things a person can achieve through education, hardwork, learning and will power. Abhinav Bindra can perform better than a normal man because with the help of money Bindra can set a shooting station at his home which a normal person cannot, because he dont has enough money to set up a shooting station at his home. May be normal man can shoot more accurate than Bindra but with more hard work and by practicising for long time Bindra will definately be ahead because Bindra can mannage his time well due to money matters.
So for two different persons having same skills of hardwork, spending same practicising time the one who is having more money can superceed the other easily because through money that person can acquire more knowledge, more informations, more latest technologies and above all he can mannage his time very well than other person, so similar is the case for intelligency. When two person do same level of hardwork, has same level of education the one who is having more money can mannage his time well to give more constructive output than other.
Although exceptions are always there but money is related to Intellegence and it influences.

To be mentioned, Dr. MGR, Mr. Karunanidhi, Dr Annadurai, Kamarajar etc who are the chief ministers of Tamil Nadu are all uneducated. But their governing skills are uncomparable. The administration and order provided by them could never be compared even to nowaday MBAs. Even intelligence doesnt require a formal education. This bookish knowledge will never improve our intelligence. Intelligence is born within. To improve it we need to face and solve situations in a matured way. These words were proven by those four chief ministers. Each one is intelligent in their own way and is not related to formal education.

Secondly, if I say there is no need for formal education, there comes no need for spending such a lot of money. Remember, the famous scientist Thomas Alva Edison was a dropout. Even in recent history take Bill Gates who was also a dropout. Hence these people didnt spend so much money for improving their intelligence.Always experience is a good master than anybody.

Well Dude, if you think getting education from university is the only way to earn intelligence then you are totally completely wrong. And you even more wrong that if you have money you'll get education and become intellingent. In fact it's the reverse if you have intelligence then you'll easily accumulate wealth. That's a lot of great nation always try to gather intelligent people in their country from around the globe so that they could contribute in four corner development. And you can even look around and you'll find that there are, were and will be a lot of people who are called genius though they never finished their college education. You'll find these category of people ranging from singers, businessmen, great leaders, scientist, inventor, etc... Take for example Thomas Alva Edison, the man who holds the greatest number of patents for his inventions and the Microsoft Tycoon Bill Gates.
So we may earn a lot of money but to acquire intelligence it needs more than money.
To some extent its true that you need money to become educated but education alone doesn't insures intelligence, it needs passion and willingness to learn to be intelligent. Otherwise people get education just to hold a job and that's all.

I think,intelligence is slightly more important than money.

We cannot just tell that love is not a passion for a fashion. It is generally not true in many of the circumstances. We have to see this in various angles of life.

You can see many of the people who truly love each other and even get married. They are very sincere in Love and do not cheat each other. as far as my views are concerned , it depends the person ,the man who belongs to a good educational background as well as he is broadminded .in this case i think there would be no problem ,but the person who are narrow minded this problem maybe occurred. Look things are very simple to understand. Change of religion is some one's look and attraction of that particular community and its social structures. If somebody likes, he can opt for that religion but your question about marry of dalit girl is not an issue for a person. To marry someone whom you like and you feel that you can pass life with her association. Marrying a dalit or brahmin girl is not at all concerned with personality.
If you are in love then find your own way.

I do not mind marrying a Dalit girl as long as we are able to get along. It is possible for a person from any background to be civilized and wise irrespective of education and finances. This is really a good topic to discuss on. From my point of view if a Dalit girl wants to marry me and I am also in real love with her, so there is only one thing that can comes in between us and that is my mentality which has to decide whether I can able to take care of her and whether we can able to manage our lifes with what I earn.

Look from the idealistic point of view nothing can going to stop me from marrying her... but life is not ideal. Even if my parents are not taking my side for this marriage, we can still get married. I know they will get offended with us and might break the relationship with us, but when they realize that we live our life smoothly and happily, they will surely get back to us by removing all the grievances that they have in there mind.

Young generations prefer western culture because it gives more freedom and openness in relationships. But at the same time overdose of it ruins "family" feeling of our Indian culture.

More freedom means more responsibility.
Indian culture: Parent’s don’t give much freedom but they take responsibility to save children from ill practices.
Western culture: more freedom, parents care less but increases the chance of children indulging in will practice if they are not made to feel responsible...
Finally, its depend upon you whether to be destroyed or to developed. As if you will choose BBC, Discovery, or proper English movies channel even, it will expand your knowledge. According to me we cannot blame foreign TV channels because they are following their culture in their TV channels. The thing is that if we did not watch those foreign channels then our culture is preserved. Why don’t we ban these channels to be viewed in India if one really cares for our culture. In my opinion it is trying that terrorism has to be abolished from its root. But the us strategy of removing terrorism is not at all justified. Just taking over a country by bombarding and shedding blood will not give the fruitful result instead it will create more terrorists. The people who lost there near and there 1s in these wars may turn against the order country and may take the wrong path of terrorism. and thus we'll never be able to get rid of this poison called terrorism. and how could killing of innocent and destroying a country could be justified for whatever purpose it may be...

This aspect has several dimensions. Unemployment is only one of them, not the cause. Unemployment generally results from lack of education or proper opportunity for obtaining vocational internship.

Through experiments, they have near-perfect methodology to churn out desperadoes who are mostly young people, that is what we have seen as per the records of the ages of suicide bombers. There’s hardly any person of 50+. Why? The trend is dangerous; till the root causes are addressed.

The suicide bomber is the symptom, not the disease. The catalysts are the terrorist organizations. Once we eliminate the catalysts, there may be ample time available to cure the disease. Once the disease is gone, normalcy would return.

Such system tacitly accepts the ruthless politics to very low by extending the concept of reservation in almost all walks of life. The coming Budget could give support to the capital goods industry with a view to stimulating investments in the economy.

Particularly needed is an incentive package for the domestic textile engineering industry, considering that government’s own estimate says the textile sector would place fresh demands for machinery worth Rs 1 lakh crore in the next five years. (Whether this estimate holds true even after the decline in textile exports due to the rupee’s rise is another question). Anyway, the government has an obligation to salvage the textile industry from its current morbidity and spur its growth, given that it is highly employment-intensive and potentially, a smashing forex earner). What can the Budget do? A technology upgradation fund would be an additional incentive for the FDI waiting at the doorsteps. Setting up of sector-specific parks in locations near the existing machinery manufacturing activity is another policy option.

The present excise duty structure makes it difficult to source machinery inputs at a lower price. This is one reason for the lack of investment in the sector for the last few years. The Budget could correct this

There is lots of burden on the Government, as they didnot get expected revenue this year due to recession. As the recession still continuing further, there is lots of gap between revenue and expenses.

There are lots of expectations from the Government to support Capital Market, Banking Sector.

The infrastructure projects have to be strengthened in the budget.

The very important factor on Govt., is to give some thing to the public too as the Elections are going to come.

I think Petrol prices will be reduced well before Union Budget.

My expectation, in not only in this budget but on earlier budgets, is this.

India should ban export of raw minerals and ores. Rather India should only export materials converted from this raw minerals and ores. this would give some sort of employment facilities in India.

Does this sounds fine?

Now a days investments in foregin country is possible.

At the same time power tarrif in India is High.

Companies can openup a facility in Qatar or UAE just for the above purposes to take advantage of the low power cost for working on the raw minerals and ores.

Income Tax Exemption From Budget 2008 entails several issues concerning different sections of the taxation system in the country. Various charitable organizations carrying out commercial activities get an easy exemption from income tax. This kind of income tax exemption is probably to be removed. This measure is very much likely to be included in the upcoming budget for the year 2008-09. There are speculations that there would be modifications or alterations in the tax exemption plan availed by several companies.

More over in love marriage what I have seen both the girls and the boy try to put their best foot forward when the love is on as the fear of loosing is there and when it comes to marriage and they start staying together they come to know the complete man or woman and then there are many things which might not be appreciated by each other and there is a sad ending. Where as in arranged marriage a new man/woman is front of you and you have to understand and explore him/her from the very beginning and you are mentally prepared for it so the conflicts are less.

When the institution of marriage started -the only way a man and woman could be united in wedlock was through the

Arranged marriage, does not give much control over the selection of one’s future spouse, the family wants to provide their children with protection, security and happiness. However, does this system guarantee their children a happily-ever-after?

Love marriages are ideally based on friendship, respect, familiarity and understanding, unlike arranged marriages in which you marry a stranger with whom you have no history or bond with.

In my opinion, a successful unity between two people requires willingness, compromise, love and dedication. These aspects can be found in either type of marriage.

As per you arranged marriages can not guarantee a happy married life then how are you sure that love marriages will.

How does love start? First a person loves the outer appearance of another person and then he slowly comes to know about him. Mostly or I should say 90% of the times when a person is not yet married and is going steady with some one both the partner try to put their best foot forward and when they start to stay together and come to know about the facts and figures at times it is very disheartening and at this stage the misunderstandings start as you are not prepared for it because of the rosy picture created by the other person.

This does not happen in arranged marriages as one is mentally prepared for all the ups and downs, good and bad and the acceptance level increases.

I prefer Arranged Love Marriage.

Before marriage we might be having lots of opinions supporting Love or Arranged Marriage. But when it comes to practicality, (i'm talking about the practical scenario when both are not in a stage to compromise on any issue) both the ways seem to be wrong. Say like, A couple who had love marriage.. will blame each other for their mistake of marrying one another (in an intense situation - which causes distance between eachother internally). In othercase, a couple who had arranged marriage, will blame eachother's parents for bringing them this situation.

Why i took a negative situation to portray the difference is - HOW A COUPLE LEADS THEIR LIFE AT HARD TIMES is the measure of bonding between them. Because, when everything is fine here won' be much of complaints.

Whenever we talk of Indian wedding we try to equate it with arrange marriages. In India the social structure is such that we associate Indian marriages mainly with arrange marriages. Most of us have the feelings that arrange marriage is the concept of Indian society. But history tells us that arranged marriages use to happen even in the Victorian age. The history of England tells us that most of the kings and queens had arranged marriages. In India arrange marriages originated when child marriages was customary in the country. Caste system gave birth to arrange marriages, as the upper caste families didn't want their children to marry outside their community and caste. The concept of love marriage was a taboo in ancient India as India always had a tradition of arranged marriages. But after World War II and industrial revolution people's perception started changing and they became familiar with the concept of love marriages. In India the influence of the British culture gave rise to love marriages. The idea, which was once a taboo, became more open and acceptable in the Indian society. But this change was seen only among the educated and high society Indians. The rural parts of the country remained ignorant and unaware of love marriages. In spite of the social changes arranged marriage persisted.

Love or arranged marriages is still a debatable topic in the Indian society. People still debate on the issue, which one is better. What should be the basis of the marriage love or social norms? We are still confused about these issues. Education and media played a vital role in changing the perception of the Indian mind. As people started thinking beyond the social customs and traditions of arranged marriages. They realized that they have the right to choose their life partner without any kind of social pressure. It is after all their life. They can decide without having to rely on parents, relatives and matchmakers. This change in the mental set up of the people gave birth to love marriages. Now in India people are open to love marriages. It is no more forbidden in the society. In our country we are having both love and arranged marriages. Arranged marriages, offer more protection, security to the women. As the parents decides the family. Parents make use of maturity and wise decision while choosing suitable spouses for their children. Even in an arranged marriage there is a different sort of social pressure. Social evils like dowry, caste system, matching of horoscopes and community issues are taken at such extreme levels that people don't support arranged marriages. So whether it is love or arranged ultimately it is up to the individual to decide, which one to go for. Love or arranged both is based on empathy, responsibility, commitment, love and concern. So it's not just about initial love and attraction it needs a lot of dedication and effort to sustain a marriage. Vimala and Harish had an arranged marriage. They too had similar contentions as Parthavs’ and they too have managed to retain their sanity and keep their marriage together by staying as a team. Harish kept her abreast of the situations in the family. Vimala, on her part braced herself for the hurdles and prepared herself for the adverse situations. She was secure in the knowledge that her husband would be there to reassure her and allay her doubts and fears.

The stimulant which keeps a marriage on the road is commitment. Both need to be committed to each other. It is not about first flush of adoration, though that will sustain you during the initial rush of romance. It is about routine, mundane stuff that can bog you down to being almost moribund. It is then that the commitment will be put to test. Are you up to it? There will be trying times pushing you to the edge. You will feel defunct and redundant. For a free spirit, domesticity could feel claustrophobic.

Recently I was watching a television biography of a famous female artiste who was bulimic. This made me think about arranged and love marriages from a women's perspective.

The usual opinion is that arranged marriages happen only in the east but this was not always so arranged marriages were happening even in Victorian Europe. With the industrial revolution and the end of the 2 world wars people's attitudes and perceptions started changing as women started to join the workforce and they started to demand for their rights. In England for example most of the kings and queens had arranged marriages up until King George V the present Queen Elizabeth's father broke tradition by marrying a commoner. Besides popular love lore like Soni Mahiwal, India always had a long tradition of arranged marriages. With the advent of the British, and the subsequent introduction of British education system more Indians got educated. These educated Indians in turn started to send their children to school and tried to educate their wives at home. The cause of women's education and rights were also very much espoused by our social reformers. In spite of this the institution of arranged marriage persisted. Education and exposure to the media, started to make people to think and realize they need not be bound by tradition and they can choose their own marital partners without having to rely on parents, matchmakers, relatives or having to consult astrologers. This gave rise to love marriages. Currently in our country we have arranged as well as love marriages taking place.

Before I launch further into this article, I want to briefly explain bulimia and anorexia nervosa two conditions which afflict mainly women in the west and which form the basis for this article.

Anorexia Nervosa

In this condition teenage girls go on a diet to attain a slim figure. They are inspired by fashion models and long to emulate them. They go to extreme lengths to achieve their ideal to the extent of starving themselves. Anorexics can't seem to get over the feeling that they are big, and eat less and less to achieve their goal. Some anorexics need to be hospitalized and administered intravenous fluids. This is a mental illness, which needs to be treated at both the mental and physical level.

Bulimia

Bulimia is more common among older women. Women suffering from this type of condition have been known to eat and stuff themselves till they get sick and then throw all of that up. This way they feel psychologically satisfied that they have not only satisfied their food cravings but have also avoided putting on unnecessary weight. Bulimics have been known to consume as much as 3 bowls of cereal, 4 bars of chocolate, 3 packs of cookies, 1 steak, 2 bowls of fruit, 3 bars of ice-cream half a gallon of milk in one sitting. One famous example of a bulimic person is the late Princess Diana. This is a more serious condition from anorexia since it involves binge eating and throwing up which is unhealthy.

It is argued that love marriages offer more independence and freedom as compared to arranged marriages where the girl/boy is chosen by the parents so there is pressure to conform to parental expectations like producing a male heir, taking part in family rituals and traditions, putting up with sisters-in-laws, contributing to family expenses etc. One of the usual questions against an arranged marriage is that how can you marry somebody you don't know. Knowing somebody before marriage allows partners to have better respect and understanding for each other's needs and desires. This way they are better adjusted in the marriage when they finally take their wedding vows.

Not all love marriages have happy endings. Sometimes discord arises even in love marriages. In the west girls who are fat find it difficult to find suitable dates. There is pressure on the women to conform to conventional male ideas of beauty where women have to be tall and slim with hourglass figures. These kinds of attitudes and perspectives have not only created the kinds of conditions which I described above but are also responsible for women suffering a lot of pain and rejection. Beauty contests and the popular Barbie doll with its model of a doll with supermodel's figure have been accused of reinforcing this mindset. These kinds of pressures would just increase as society gets more modern and technology advances. Then, would women who refuse to conform get left behind? This made me wonder for a moment that maybe society should switch back to arranged marriages from love marriages since this pursuit for perfection in beauty would increase as society changes. On the positive side all this has also led to the feminist movements in the west. Women have come out of the closet refusing to be mere sexual objects pandering to male ideas of beauty.

Coming to arranged marriages, they offer more protection, security to the women. There is not much pressure on the women to look like models. Parents employ maturity and wise judgment when choosing suitable spouses for their children. Sometimes it helps to rely on another person's opinion and experience when selecting one's partner especially when the people marrying are young and need guidance and advice in marrying a suitable person.

This does not mean arranged marriages are the ideal sort of marriages. Having an arranged does not mean that the married couple remains happily ever after or that there is harmony in the relationship. Women have been known to stay on in abusive relationships for the sake of family pride, respect in society etc. Even in an arranged marriage there is a different sort of pressure to be fair-skinned and beautiful. In India the evil of dowry, caste and community issues and the concept of matching horoscopes, sometimes taken to its extreme levels have contributed much to the argument against arranged marriages.

It becomes difficult therefore to predict the ideal sort of marriage. So ultimately it is up to the individual to decide whether he wants to have a love or an arranged marriage after all it is a question of being happy in love.

We Can't decide which marriage lasts for long. It all depends on the mutual understanding of the couple, trust, love, co-operation, care n time for each other are all a perfect marriage requires.

Well I support love marriage because in arranged marriage we cant say that the person will be "the one who suits U" There is only a less probability of getting a good person indeed it's our life and we cant take any probability into it .

Coming to this point what you have raised, in my view, long time peaceful life is in true love. In arranged marriage too it happens but at some point, in some occasion there exists a chance of thinking like they had done a mistake and there comes problem. In true love marriage (I mean not like fashion love imitating films and other cultures), they do share their life forever and there will be no chance of thinking that they married for others' suggestion or force. In my view love marriage (true) is better than arranged marriage and it lasts forever!

I think Arranged marriage is far better than love marriage. I shall give you a psychological edge to this fact. If a thing pleases your eyes you start liking it then you start loving it and this is where your heart comes into play. Then it is taken over by your mind and you start questioning your heart and mind as to why only this face. In like debate in-between your self the heart is the winner (90%)
whereas in case of arranged marriage your parents who have seen the world with all views and have experienced the stage which you are into can balance the situations better and can go in details. More over in love marriage what I have seen both the girls and the boy try to put their best foot forward when the love is on as the fear of loosing is there and when it comes to marriage and they start staying together they come to know the complete man or woman and then there are many things which might not be appreciated by each other and there is a sad ending. Where as in arranged marriage a new man/woman is front of you and you have to understand and explore him/her from the very beginning and you are mentally prepared for it so the conflicts are less.

According to me there should be love after the marriage. If you love your life partner after the marriage then you will succeed in your marriage life. There may be problems in both love marriage as well as in arranged marriage. The thing is how we are overcoming them. If we select our life partner who best matches with us in all regards, it will be easy for us. The important essentials in a marriage are trust and love. When these two qualities lack in a marriage then it leads to the way of ruin.

Yes we can say that love marriages may last for long time but no one knows what the truth is. When we can see the western culture system of only love marriages with a lot of diverse rate.

Marriage is one of the most important stage in ones life.
According to me i guess both love and arranged have advantages as well as disadvantages.
Fears of love marriage grip the hearts of parents who tend to push their children into unwilling alliances resulting in separation and divorce.
If it’s an arranged marriage then there may arise a problem on dowry.
So we can never conclude which one lasts forever.
There are several examples of both kinds of marriages ending disastrously.

For a marriage to remain sweet and stable there should be trust ,cooperation and understanding between partners.
Domestic quarrels may not harm much.

I believe that politician can be only made honest by increasing there wages and there should some minimum qualifications or say entrance test like bias (which is nearly impossible).so that only good and creamy people can handle the system.

There can’t be increase of their wages because most of the politicians do earn much than anyone by shortcuts except few honest ones. There can be made some strict rules for entering into politics, as you said, entrance exam might be useful. The fact is most of them are illiterate and even don't know the basic of computers. There have been honest politicians without even basic knowledge of education. Still they proved their efficiency in bringing up our country and doing good things. But nowadays everything is changed. In short the field is traveling towards dangerous path. To make it strict, some strict rules must be brought up in future.

Yes their should be a retirement age for politicians because when we are young we will be having interests in change, creativity etc. As we grow old, the first problem is we will get one or other disease. So its good if they look after themselves rather than our country. I agree that old people are more experienced, but what’s the use of it when they cant travel much, can’t take much stress. Yes, the retirement age is required for the politicians. The retirement age may be around 65 - 68 years not more than that. Because the employees after retirement, can participate in the politics and serve for the country.

Yes I very much agree with fixing a retirement age for politicians. If an age limit is there then youth will have a chance of entring politics. As it is the jobs for youth is shrinking day by day. Youth is diverting themselves to wrong options in life but If an opportunity is given to today’s youth they can do a better job as they know the problems faced by them as they are in it and are affected by it.

First of all we have to be clear about what has deterred us till date from becoming a Super Power. -We have man power. We have talent pools. We have a strong cultural background, an exemplary history, we have world gurus, top corporate leaders, we have natural resources, we possess everything required to become a super power.

So, so also we have our follies - corruption, astronomical population, lack of education (even now we confuse our statistics literate people with educated people), blind believes, political eagles, and most importantly - lost confidence! These are some elements I guess deter us from becoming World no. 1.

Before going to elaborate these issues, may I be clear on what account we wish to become world no.1 - Knowledge, Population, Military, Economic. If it is Knowledge - we have already proved ourselves world's no. 1 talented people. If it is population - we are

surely going to pass over China even without making any effort. Military - this is a induced factor - Pakistan , China on one hand, America and Russia are there on the other hand to stretch us to that level.

Only factor left is economic power. How can we achieve this ? Look back at the folly factors I stated above-

1. Corruption - (Remedy :Highest punishment and Immediate punishment, No political excuse, no human rights excuse)

2. Astronomical Population - (Remedy : Honestly accept it as a problem first, move on from awareness to mandatory rules like 'No family planning compliance, no Job' or so)

3. Lack of education - (Remedy: Cut short the VVIP size, put this expense on education)

4. Blind Belief - (Remedy : Education and logics)

5. Political eagles - (Remedy : Manage the country with Educated people, give them corporate level salaries and make them accountable)

6. Lost confidence - ( Remedy: Let people feel the presence of ethics at every level)

The coal reserve in India is about 285 billion tonnes, which may last another 200 years. Technology offers many advantages than disadvantages. It has made our life easy, comfortable, simple and luxurious.

Technology is supporting human so much that now a person can work from his home.

It has helped a lot in uniting people. In fact with the help of internet the world has just turned in to a global village.

Technology doesn’t make man. Man makes technology... hence it depends on the use we employ it....Nuclear energy is indeed destructive....However if we use it constructively its great boon.... Rocket Science has many peaceful uses for space exploration & kind. But if harnessed for war purposes it’s bound to be destructive.... Similarly Television & Internet has its own plus & minus side. If human mind tilts towards destructive uses then we can’t take technology itself at fault.....

But I feel that this technology is more boon than bane.

as nuclear power for electricity, it is definitely good. as an atomic weapon, it can be used to cause terrible destruction.

Let me ask you this: can you imagine going back to a mode of existance before technology? Before we even had clothes, or spears? Before fire and language? All of these things were inventions, and if you can't imagine even living without what we have now (much less comfortably), then you'll have to agree that technology is too valuable to ever give up.

That said, it has it's downsides. Recently, technological progress has led to a deterioration of our resources. The ability of technology to adapt to hostile conditions is being strained in the face of the effect we're having on the environment. It's entirely possible that some technological breakthrough will allow us to survive without relying on our earth exclusively, but it's a race of the boon vs. the bane, and the finish line is getting awfully close.

In My point of view the world always doesn’t fits to the topic because technology was helping people to make their life easy and safe some people use those technologies illegally to fulfill their needs. The first example that orkut was very useful to chat and converse with friends but some people use it badly but not all. Secondly the cell phone helps much more to people to communicate anywhere, anytime and makes life so easy and also there are surgery done using sms by some doctors that we heard already and some terrorists use it for their communication purpose. With the introduction to the internet communication has been improved drastically never before and some people are hacking and spamming on internet. Its true. Many hidden crimes are lighted by media. There are many useful things in it if an individual takes only the advantages of an invention. Every part has its other side (disadvantages) too and it depends on the individual who absorbs it. We are able to know the news, technology, announcements, crimes, justice, etc from our home only by media. If media stops a day or two, we all will be blank of knowledge. Even certain films reach people with best information and thinking. And also I feel they do their role much better than police and other departments. From my opinion MBA is a better option...because at present the person who has done post graduation in management is better as compared to the person who has done MTECH...

By doing so, a person can enter in to the MNCs very easily. It gives you better growth opportunity. Because it has a wide scope in private sector. Secondly companies r looking for the guys who r good at both sides i.e technical and management as well.

Even a person can also apply for the foreign companies and can have a good annual income.

But in case of MTECH generally it is observed that 55% of people are in teaching line so their scope is limited.

That's why I think in this world of competition, MBA is a better option.

Suppose you do MBA. Then you will get high knowledge in both field technical & management that' present demand of a lot of MNCs companies.. You can give contribution to your company in a better way. Yoga is more of setting up co-ordination between mind and body and thus deals more with the internal health.

Gym i assume Weight Training is more into strength development.

Although yoga will give you more strength and Going to gym will increase your metabolism, these effects are secondary and their primary goals differ.

Many people think that the corruption will reduce if the punishment is given to those who are doing corruption. The corruption is caused due to both giver and taker.

The corruption will be reduced when the competitiveness by converting government departments to public limited or privatized.

If you see the history of the telephone department there was a lot of corruption in the department when it was the government department.

One has to wait for years to get the connection. Even after getting the connection employees were demanding money for giving the connection. Also there were cases the employees taking bribes and the bills were reduced for the customers by stopping their meters.

After the entry of private operators and the conversion of telephone department to public limited company every thing has changed without any punishment to any employee. Now the corruption has almost nil in the BSNL. If you see the corruption in a department 80% of the employees will be taking the bribes. But the anti corruption department will be catching only 1% of the corrupted people. So this was it is very difficult to stop corruption. Every department which linked to the public money should be privatized and the competitiveness should be brought in the departments just like BSNL.

Then the corruption will be automatically come down.

What faster medium than to become a party to corruption? Well if we think deeply, it’s the attitude of the individual that should count much to calibrate corruption. Not every poor is corrupt. Not every rich is corrupt.

What could be the cause having the most weightage? I believe it’s called ‘scarcity mentality’ versus ‘abundant mentality’. ‘Scarcity mentality’ is not necessarily attributed to the have-nots. On the other hand, ‘abundant mentality’ is not always the guiding force of the rich.

we can unite and go and personally thrash the corrupt official so much and give him warning, as we will be going in group of 10-12 people and thrashing that official no one will come to know, we can also do quiet spying on him and quietly damage his car / bike / house, so that he realizes what corruption is. I don't think the bottom line is love or money. The bottom line is how much you love.
One should find most parents gives unconditional love to their offsprings but extremely conditional love to their partners.
For someone who love unconditionally, money is not an object.
There are always ways to get more money, but love is truly special. I'd hate to have a ton of money, because it's harder to tell which friends are really friends, or if they just dig you for your money. And no amount of money in the world could buy a person out of loneliness.

A Group Discussion can be defined as a formal discussion involving ten to 12 participants in a group.It is a methodology used by an organization to gauge whether the candidate has certain personality traits and/or skills that it desires in its members. In this methodology, the group of candidates is given a topic or a situation, given a few minutes to think about the same, and then asked to discuss the it among themselves for 15-20 minutes.

What skills are judged in group discussion?
* How good you are at communication with others.
* How you behave and interact with group.
* How open minded are you.
* Your listening skill.
* How you put forward your views.
* Your leadership and decision making skills.
* Your analysis skill and subject knowledge.
* Problem solving and critical thinking skill.
* Your attitude and confidence.

Do’s and Don’ts of Group discussion:

1) Keep eye contact while speaking:
Do not look at the evaluators only. Keep eye contact with every team member while speaking.

2) Initiate the GD:
Initiating the GD is a big plus. But keep in mind - Initiate the group discussion only when you understood the GD topic clearly and have some topic knowledge. Speaking without proper subject knowledge is bad impression.

3) Allow others to speak:
Do not interrupt anyone in-between while speaking. Even if you don’t agree with his/her thoughts do not snatch their chance to speak. Instead make some notes and clear the points when it’s your turn.

4) Speak clearly:
Speak politely and clearly. Use simple and understandable words while speaking. Don’t be too aggressive if you are disagreeing with someone. Express your feelings calmly and politely.

5) Make sure to bring the discussion on track:

If by any means group is distracting from the topic or goal then simply take initiative to bring the discussion on the track. Make all group members aware that you all need to come to some conclusion at the end of the discussion. So stick to the topic.

6) Positive attitude:
Be confident. Do not try to dominate anyone. Keep positive body language. Show interest in discussion.

7) Speak sensibly:
Do not speak just to increase your speaking time. Don’t worry even if you speak less. Your thoughts should be sensible and relevant instead of irrelevant speech.

Here, a leader would be someone who facilitates the third situation at a GD.
A leader would have the following qualities:

4. Flexibility
You must be open to other ideas as well as to the evaluation of your ideas: That is what flexibility is all about.
But first, remember: Never ever start your GD with a stand or a conclusion.

5. Assertiveness
You must put forth your point to the group in a very emphatic, positive and confident manner.
Participants often confuse assertiveness with aggressiveness.
Aggressiveness is all about forcing your point on the other person, and can be a threat to the group. An aggressive person can also demonstrate negative body language, whereas an assertive person displays positive body language.

6. Initiative
A general trend amongst students is to start a GD and get the initial kitty of points earmarked for the initiator.
But that is a high risk-high return strategy.
Initiate a GD only if you are well versed with the topic. If you start and fail to contribute at regular intervals, it gives the impression that you started the GD just for the sake of the initial points.
Also, if you fumble, stammer or misquote facts, it may work against you.
Remember: You never ever get a second chance to create a first impression.

7. Creativity/ Out of the box thinking
An idea or a perspective which opens new horizons for discussion on the GD topic is always highly appreciated.When you put across a new idea convincingly, such that it is discussed at length by the group, it can only be positive.You will find yourself in the good books of the examiner.

8. Inspiring ability
A good group discussion should incorporate views of all the team members.
If some team members want to express their ideas but are not getting the opportunity to do so, giving them an opportunity to express their ideas or opinions will be seen as a positive trait.
Caution: If a participant is not willing to speak, you need not necessarily go out of the way to ask him to express his views. This may insult him and hamper the flow of the GD.

9. Listening
Always try and strike a proper balance between expressing your ideas and imbibing ideas.

10. Awareness
