This aspect has several dimensions. Unemployment is only one of them, not the cause. Unemployment generally results from lack of education or proper opportunity for obtaining vocational internship.
Lack of education and absence of opportunity could be attributed to poor infrastructures in a country, the weak economic scenario thereof.
These deficiencies in a nation do not show up all of a sudden. These are gradual processes that strike roots in a country because of poor governance or management or no governance at all.
With a breeding ground available for every rogue elements in a fractured nation, it is not surprising that fanatical forces or fascist organizations take precedence over any other form of governance.
And of course, to brainwash the thought processes of the tender and fertile minds of the young people gets on top of the agenda of these organizations. The cumulative result can be linked to this domino effect.
And of course, the inherent culture of that country plays a vital role. Is it misplaced result of a sense of paranoia on the collective psyche of a nation? Well, it sounds quite probable. But it is not conclusive. To play on this psyche, the malevolent entities have a ready how-to-do. Through experiments, they have near-perfect methodology to churn out desperadoes who are mostly young people, that is what we have seen as per the records of the ages of suicide bombers. There’s hardly any person of 50+. Why? The trend is dangerous; till the root causes are addressed.
The suicide bomber is the symptom, not the disease. The catalysts are the terrorist organizations. Once we eliminate the catalysts, there may be ample time available to cure the disease. Once the disease is gone, normalcy would return.
On the whole, it looks like that a few thousand fanatics are holding billions as hostages. Can we not fight back? Can we not just draw the line that enough is enough? Get some cue from the army of that small island nation, shall we.
