Will India become a superpower by 2020??

I think it will not happen unless youngsters enter into politics.

By comparing to other countries only we can say a country a super power. Just think where US will be in 2020.

Just think of Japan, china where they stand in 2020....

I think that until our politicians are corrupt it is difficult for India to be a superpower by 2020....It is only the younger generation who can make it possible.

First of all we must develop a positive attitude to life. Delete all the negatives from your brain and update all positive thoughts every single morning. This can be done by meditation through thanksgiving and praising God for all situations in life. Whether you get the bread of adversity or the water of affliction your eyes should turn towards your teacher. Our best teacher acharya or guru is the almighty power God who is the sole force India should depend on to restore our fortunes by 2020, or even before. Also each Indian should have a vision a dream an ambition an aim in life and must never just exist but should live for the dream ambitiously with handwork and continuous evaluation. God did not come for us to just drift in life but to live it and live it abundantly. The attitude in failure should not be dejection or suicide, but it should be always be positive. For everything that God does is for good, nothing that god does is to be rejects if received in thanksgiving. Recieve failure with thanksgiving. For he will restore your fortune .He is the way for India, the truth for India and the Life for India. Love yourself, moreover love your parents and family; love your neighbor, love your enemy as yourself. If prayer is concentration love is the utmost in concentration it attains all. THUS INDIA WILL achieve it's dream very soon even before 2020. Wish you the best.

yes it is possible and no it is not possible

it is possible because as the population of our country is going on increasing the competition is increasing and thus the time arrives that everyone is fully educated and knows everything about market, devices and etc. due to which the chances of invention, discovery and other factors increases

it may also not possible because due to corruption because this things are creating a lot of problems like parliament questions nowadays then defense corruption, police, entrance for admission and many other factors

To prove you are strong, you do not have to start overpowering everyone else and say you are a superpower.

Let us first get our act together. Then we can start dreaming of being superpowers.

All these failures in the country are not our politicians' or our bureaucrats' or anyone else's. It is the failure of each and every one of our Indian citizens.

We are part of the problem. We should now become more of part of the solution. We are all contributing to the failures of this country because we do not do anything and we do not let others do anything good.

India is a fast developing country; behind this success there are hands of great politicians who have turned a dream into reality. If every individual performs his duty with sincerity n dedication then our country will surely turn into a new leaf by 2010. It’s only in our hands to either turn our country into a new leaf or to leave it to dry.

Our former President has told the following.

"A developed India by 2020, or even earlier, is not a dream. It need not be a mere vision in the minds of many Indians. It is a mission we can all take up - and succeed." - A P J Abdul Kalam.

It depends upon us to make India a superpower by 2020. If we wish and be true to our wish then certainly we can do that.

We have to think about our strength and weakness and cultivate ourselves so that we can be the superpower by 2020.

First of all we have to be clear about what has deterred us till date from becoming a Super Power. -We have man power. We have talent pools. We have a strong cultural background, an exemplary history, we have world gurus, top corporate leaders, we have natural resources, we possess everything required to become a super power.

So, so also we have our follies - corruption, astronomical population, lack of education (even now we confuse our statistics literate people with educated people), blind believes, political eagles, and most importantly - lost confidence! These are some elements I guess deter us from becoming World no. 1.

Before going to elaborate these issues, may I be clear on what account we wish to become world no.1 - Knowledge, Population, Military, Economic. If it is Knowledge - we have already proved ourselves world's no. 1 talented people. If it is population - we are

surely going to pass over China even without making any effort. Military - this is a induced factor - Pakistan , China on one hand, America and Russia are there on the other hand to stretch us to that level.

Only factor left is economic power. How can we achieve this ? Look back at the folly factors I stated above-

1. Corruption - (Remedy :Highest punishment and Immediate punishment, No political excuse, no human rights excuse)

2. Astronomical Population - (Remedy : Honestly accept it as a problem first, move on from awareness to mandatory rules like 'No family planning compliance, no Job' or so)

3. Lack of education - (Remedy: Cut short the VVIP size, put this expense on education)

4. Blind Belief - (Remedy : Education and logics)

5. Political eagles - (Remedy : Manage the country with Educated people, give them corporate level salaries and make them accountable)

6. Lost confidence - ( Remedy: Let people feel the presence of ethics at every level)

In my opinion, this will make us really Super Power.

India can become a super power even in a month.The main reason why our country is at a backfoot is black money and the second reason is corruption.If we eradicate these things from our society and if youth who truly love the nation come into power and rule the country ours will become a super power.

Yes, the omens are propitious so far for India. Despite being on the receiving end of terrorism, India has stood up well and fighting fit. And it is becoming clearer that the global community have come to realize that India, over the past several years, had not been crying imagery wolf. The global community, especially the US of A, have now come to see that the wolf is very real, alive and kicking. India has handled the crisis on a commendable matured level. It has taken up the matter with the other global partners with undeniable pointers as to who is /are the perpetrators of terror in the south Asia, or most of the world, for that matter. Of late, things are turning out more in our favour as far as tackling this menace is concerned. This is perhaps the starting point for India to make itself heard seriously, and seen seriously. So far, India has struggled doggedly, without much of assistance from the USA in its development path. Now, it’s among the fastest growing economy in the world. When the global market is heaving under an economic downturn, India is poised to register an incredible 7.5 % growth in GDP. This is by no means small achievement when we take into account the malaise worldwide. Except China, India has registered the fastest growth consistently during the last decade. And this, India has achieved without compromising its value system as far as human rights are concerned. For India’s growth, at least its people have not been relegated to serve as fodder for the economic machine. The potential for growth is given an impetus by its vast reservoir of natural resources, be it coal or hydro power potential. By 2020, India will be requiring additional 200,000 MW of power to keep its rate of growth at 8%. This target is achievable in terms of potential available with India. The coal reserve in India is about 285 billion tonnes, which may last another 200 years. As regards hydro power, out of the country’s estimated potential of 1,50,000 MW, there is potential of 70000 MW + in Arunachal Pradesh alone, other than hill states like Uttarkhand, Himachal Pradesh. The prospect is positive for India to meet its energy need. With adequate energy supply, other parameters associated with growth would be synergized. And of course, with marginalization of disruptive forces, India’s path to Super power by 2020 is assured.

We can definitely become superpower but we should work hard. Learn from Japanese people. After 2nd world war, they have recovered themselves like “phoenix". It’s only due to their handwork, persistence & love for the nation.

India has made a very good progress considering science. We have developed many missiles. The issues which are creating problems for us are

1. Dirty Politics

2. Corruption

3. Lack of persistence in performance

4. Selfish nature of Politicians

5. Poverty

6. Poor literacy rate in certain areas

India will become the super natural power on 2020 because as there decrease in G.D.P in the whole world when our G.D.P. is still in a steady process and one more thing I want to request that it is impossible to make it super power by just making some rules and making some plans if we all follow the plan implemented by government,and if we have any god idea then we should suggest it to government then definitely India will become the number 1 in everything ,finance,energy and technology
